International Marine Consultants Ltd. is principally a marine transportation consultancy. The company was incorporated in 1994 and maintains offices adjacent to the waterfront in the City of North Vancouver, B.C.
Amongst International Marine's client base is Irving Shipyards Ltd., The Province of British Columbia, the British Columbia Ferry Corporation, The City of North Vancouver, Zodiac North America , West Coat Marine Services Inc. Canron West Inc., QingShan Shipyard, China Wuhan Import & Export Corporation, Chengxi Shipyard, Costco Nantung Shipyards, and Malaysia Shipbuilding and Engineering Group.
The Company also provides Project Management services, and, on occasions, has acted as the Prime Contractor for some Capital Conversion Projects. To support these activities it has built up a network of qualified and experienced marine sub-contractors.
IMCL has a bonding facility which allows it to provide Performance Bonds and Labour and Materials Bonds and carries both General Liability and Professional Liability Insurance. When required IMCL has been able to place Hull and Machinery Insurance and P&I coverage for its marine projects.
