For the last twenty-five years Wallace Studios has been providing studios to the motion picture industry.
Starting July 1st 2010 Wallace Studios will be under new management. Toronto Lights Ltd, a major tenant in Wallace Studios will be managing the day to day operations of the facility. Toronto Lights Ltd purchased the assets of Toronto Lights Inc in September of 2009.
Toronto Lights Ltd supplies primarily Lighting and Grip equipment for the studios from its on site warehouse at Wallace. Camera and other specialized equipment may also be sourced and supplied through Toronto Lights Ltd.
Our focus is to continue the tradition established by our predecessors and improve upon the overall quality of the studio and facilities to ensure that all your production needs are satisfied.
To that end some of the changes you can expect to see will include but not be limited to all three stages having pre rigged cyclorama lighting, updated washrooms and hair/makeup rooms. Brighter, cleaner common areas,competitive packaging prices for stricter budgets and all surrounding walls in the stages painted a non reflective black.
Studio 1 for example with be pre rigged with a fully lit cyclorama consisting of twelve 3 light Cyc strips on individual dimmers with its own 175 AMP 3-phase power supply all controlled by an Express 48/96 dimmer board.
We are also considering making the stages available on a hourly basis for still photographers and others who would benefit from such an arrangement.
